Draft — pending legal review

This document is a working draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet in effect. Bracketed items such as [Company legal name] will be completed before launch.

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: draft, not yet effective.

This policy applies to everything you do with Basevex: the adapters you upload, the requests you send and the outputs you use.

You may not use Basevex to

  • Break the law or help others break it.
  • Generate content that sexualizes minors, or content intended to harass, threaten or incite violence against people.
  • Create or distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Run large-scale fraud, spam, impersonation or deceptive influence operations.
  • Upload adapters or data you don’t have the rights to use, or use a base model in a way its license forbids.
  • Probe, overload or attack Basevex, other customers, or the underlying infrastructure, or try to access another organization’s data.
  • Resell or share API access in a way that hides who the end user is from us when we need to investigate abuse.

[Categories to be reviewed against the base model licenses and applicable law.]

Enforcement

We may suspend API keys or organizations to stop abuse, and will tell the organization owner why unless the law or an investigation prevents it.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to [abuse contact]. Include request ids where you have them.
